1st XI

Batting - Gareth Lee 824 runs @ 51.50
Bowling - Gareth Lee 46 wickets @ 15.52
Fielding - Josh Bennett 20 catches + 10 stumpings
Captains award - Josh Bennett

With the aim this season of gaining the first team promotion and the decision to pay a player for the first time at the club the recruitment of Gareth Lee was well justified in his performances through out the season. He was backed up in the batting by Matthew Donohoe (624 runs @ 43.38) and Josh Bennett (446 runs @ 29.73) with many of the other batters providing crucial knocks through out the season. In the bowling stakes he was backed up by Thomas Lindsay (34 wickets @17.68) which include a great spell of bowling where he took 7 wickets and Vinit Patel (30 wickets @ 20.23) who also bowled a great spell that include 4 in 4.

2nd XI

Batting - Will Cutt 468 runs @ 58.50
Bowling - Simon Bagnall 33 wickets @ 16.58
Fielding - Tom Davidson 11 catches
Captains award - Matthew Lyles

With the second team supporting the first team in their push for promotion they where was also in the mix for promotion through out the entire season with only an end of season lost against fellow challenges Oulton denying them. In the batting stakes Will was backed up by James Curtis (466 @ 42.36), both scoring there first hundreds, with 3 other batters scoring more than 250 runs. In the bowling Simon only just won the award beating James Curtis by only 0.3 (33 wickets @ 16.88) and all bowlers contributing throughout the season.

Players player - Paul Bennett

Paul was one of the driving forces behind this push for promotion and for the club to look at bringing in a paid player. Paul was also the main reason for the club gaining Club Mark in a very short period of time and with out all the hard work put in behind the scenes the club would not be in the position it is in now at the end of the season. Paul also made major contributions out on the field scoring over 200 run in 4 games for the 2nds and if you ask him after a beer or two he will talk you through his 41 in the final game giving the bowlers something to defend and gain promotion.

Colin Laycock Young player of the year - Josh Bennett

Josh not only had excellent year behind the stumps showing impressive glove work and standing up to the opening bowlers but also scored is first senior hundred, getting better with the bat as the year went on.

Simon Bagnall All rounder of the year - Gareth Lee

Gareth's batting and bowling was one of the driving factors in helping the first team get promoted even when he wasnt taking wickets teams where unable to get him away, drying up an end to allow the others to get the wickets.
