Ian was nominated for a Leeds Sport Award to recognise his length of service to the club and the hard work that he has put in over the last 40 years. Ian is currently the club secretary and head groundsman giving up lots of his free time to make sure that cricket field and the surroundings of the club are in the best shape possible. As well has dealing with the field Ian is also helping to drive the cricket club forward and still playing when needed. Ian has been a major part in the refurbishment of the club and the rebuilding of the score box along with the many other great aspects of Adwalton Cricket Club.

Ian is finalist in the sports volunteer category and I am sure you will join us in wishing Ian good luck.
