A goodbye to our overseas Andrew Stolzenburg

So last night, we said goodbye to our overseas player for the year, Andrew Stolzenburg. He's had a terrific season for us here at Adwalton, taking 38 wickets with the ball, scoring 255 runs with the bat and holding on to 7 catches (only putting 1 down all year). On top of what he has contributed to the cricket, he's also been a wonderful clubman. He's assisted with the All Stars programme, attended more training sessions than he's missed, gotten involved with the fundraising events, attended every player do and has spent more than his fair share over the bar. He even had his parents in the club a few weekends whilst they visited from Melbourne. He's been a joy to have around the club and definitely in the dressing room. Liked by everybody and provided a role model to some of our excellent juniors whom are transitioning to senior cricket.
From everyone here at Adwalton CC, we wish you all the best for the future!
Farewell, you slimey rooster! #cmonthetiges
